So, our culinary journey begins with a visit to some of the best local farmer’s markets, where we hand pick the freshest, cleanest ingredients for the food we cook.
We believe that honest gourmet food begins with sourcing exceptionally fresh, clean ingredients
from farmers’ market;
For us at ‘My Kind of Chefs’, it's not only about how artfully a dish is plated, but also what's on the plate itself that matters. We believe the preparation and creation of a catering dish is just as important as the taste, which is why our focus is on real gourmet food: fresh, healthy, delicious, satisfying dishes prepared with a lot of love and care. A sustainable, farm to table philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to using local, seasonal produce and sustainably raised meats and seafood from renewable sources.

All our menu items are freshly made to order on the day by real chefs at our state of the art catering kitchen in South-East Melbourne.
We let the seasons determine what we cook, taking advantage of all that Melbourne's farms have
to offer. All of our dishes are made using local, seasonal produce, the freshest meat and dairy products, and seafood from renewable sources.

That’s why we don’t use cookie cutters. Not unless you want them. Not that we have anything against those who use a cookie cutter approach in catering. Our approach to catering is a bit different from the rest of the pack. Our focus lies behind the flawless execution of everything we do.

From plating to what’s on the plate, from themed buffet settings to staff uniforms, from behind the kitchen to front of house and everything in between, our focus is wholly on you and your guest - period! And that we take pride of!

Our farm fresh gourmet menus and service offer are meant to inspire. We offer two types of cuisines: Sri Lankan and Western - delivered through a choice of two catering service options:
